Persona 5 Moves Two Million Units Worldwide

Persona 5 is one the best critically received games this year, it is currently sitting at a 93 on Metacritic. The game sold about 1.5 million copies when it launched in Japan last March. Atlus announced another huge milestone for the game today.

These sales account for both versions of the game on both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. For comparison, Persona 4 Golden, was the previous best selling game in the series, capping around 1.25 million units.

For those who want more Persona 5 content will have to wait till 2018. Persona 5: Dancing Star Night will launch sometime in 2018 for the PlayStation 4 and Vita.

My Take - This is a huge accomplishment, I know I will not play Persona 5 but I will acknowledge how important it is this year. I'm happy to see Atlus succeeding with their games.
