Epic Games has announced that its hit game Fortnite has reached 20 million players across all modes since its launch this summer. The game received an influx of players when it launched a free-to-play standalone Battle Royale mode in September.
Epic announced this via the tweet below, and they put a sizzle reel together to commemorate the accomplishment.
My Take - This announcement comes after Fortnite announced their take on the Battle-Royale genre, the mode has launched it into an overnight success. With the only difference being that Fortnite launched its mode as free-to-play versus PUBG which costs $30. When PUBG launches on Xbox One launches this December, it might change the scales for Fornite.
